Over the past few months we have been sailing Islands in the Azores, Madeira, Canaries, and Cape Verde. In the Azores we experienced variable summer winds, and from Madeira southward were the Northeast Tradewinds. All in all, the sailing was quite lovely. Next, we’ll be crossing the Atlantic to South America.

Great video and site, Dawn Treader came out beautiful…are you happy with the Tohatsu outboard? I just installed a Tohatsu sailpro on a similar sized boat, our Galaxy 32.

Hi Lee. We are happy with the Sailpro installation and would do it again with the same engine. In calm water it pushes Dawn Treader 5.5knots full throttle. Speed goes down against wind or current.
